Systems of Accounting

Posted by: Jeet Patel

Heyo guys, here comes an another blog that is not restated to out topic at all. COOL so here we go-
Guys this blog is related to accounts management that can be done in the business I hope you all will be helpful by this blog.

First of all you have to remember the golden rule for accounting :

"Debit what comes in
            And
                      Credit what goes out"

Below are the system for accounting :

1. Waste Books
2. Journals
3. Subsidiary Books
4. Ledger
5. Trial Accounts
6. Trading and Profit and Loss Accounts
7. Balance Sheets

Let's see all of the above systems on details:

1. Waste Books  :   In every business or firm there are transactions for many things. And during the business time any of the owner don't have free time to record the transaction systematically in the books of accounting. At that time they note the records for temporarily in a roughy book that book is called the Waste Book. In waste books  all the day to day transactions are written roughly. That saves the time while the business time. Waste books are not included in the books of accounting, they just give us an idea for entries in the books of accounting.

2. Journals    :    Journals are the first step for accounting. It is the book of accounting. Here the transactions of the business are recorded. All the records are  recorded systematically in the Journal. The records which are recorded in the journals are the records which were written roughly in the waste book earlier. Transactions are recorded professionally, systematically and clearly. There are two effects of any effects of any transaction, namely Debit and Credit. This table includes five fields they are Date, Particulars, Ledger Folio, Debit and Credit. Debit and credits are incremented according to the given transactions. You need to total the amount in the Debit and Credit, if they comes same then it means that your entries are correct in Journal.

3. Subsidiary Books     :       There are two types business - Large scale business and - Small scale business. In the small scale business the number of transactions are less. And in the large scale business the number of transactions are more compared to small scale business. (Note : the above statement is not applicable for all the cases) In the business where there are many transactions and are very difficult to record in the journals are written in Subsidiary Books. By the help of subsidiary Books it becomes easy for the accountant as well as the company to identify the transaction and to know the type of Transactions. In subsidiary books accounting system there are different books for every accounts. Each and every transactions are written in the respective account books.

4. Ledger     :       Ledger includes all the accounts separately. Ledger are very much important to know whether how much money to bring to the next day to the business whether it's Debit or Credit brought forward. Ledger is written according to the entries in Journal entries. In Ledger all the accounts are included which are mentioned in Journal transaction. Ledger has two section -Debit and -Credit. Following are the fields that are included in both Debit and Credit section :
- Date
- Particulars
- Journal Folio (JF)
- Amount

5. Trial Account      :       Trial balance is not an account, it's a statement. Trial accounts shows you that all the transactions are correctly entered in the Journal as well as Ledger. There are fields like Date, Account Type, Debit and Credit.

Trading and Profit and Loss Account     :      In this account all the transactions are recorded related to Trading. You can know all the Profits and Losses in the Trading and Profit and Loss Account.

7. Balance Sheet    :     Balance sheet is the final sheet which gives you all the finalised data from all the accounts which you have prepared before like The Journals entries, The ledger entries and The Trading and Profit and Loss Account entries.

What is System Development Life Cycle

Posted by: Jeet Patel

I think that you all might be thinking that this is the blog relates to technology then why am I posting the thinks outside of the box. But trust me that these blogs related to Data and Information are also very much important from the view of a programmer.
Okay so Hello guys I'm here with an another blog related to the a System Analysis and design, and the topic name is "System Development Life Cycle". Most of the people wrote the short form as SDLC.

SDLC is very much important from the sight of a programmer.
Okay so let's first classify the System Development Life Cycle :
1. Preliminary Investigation
     (A) Request Classification
     (B) Feasibility Study
           - Economic Feasibility
           - Technical Feasibility
           - OperationalFeasibility
     (C) Request Approval
2. Determination of software requirement
3. Design Software
4. Development of software
5. Software testing
6. Implementation and evaluation
     (A) Operational Evaluation
     (B) User to Manager Evaluation
     (C) Organisational Evaluation

Above are the most basic and the most important points that to be kept in mind when you are dealing with the System Development and Design.

Let's understand some Of the terms from the above terms :

Preliminary Investigation : Okay so Preliminary Investigation means that the person who initiates the point to the company or the institute is the initiator. He has some good idea with him and he wants that the company should implement that idea(software).

Determination of software requirements : This stage includes that the company sees whether the company can afford the project or not.

Software Design : In this stage the company will decide that what will be the input and what will be the output of the system. Because this is very important stage for any kind of software.

Development of the software : This is the stage where the real programming of the real coding starts. In this stage programmers do the programming for the softwares according to the users needs and requirement.

Software Testing : Before launching any kind of software it is very essential to test the project the project. In this stage the software is tested.

Implementation and Evaluation : By the time when this stage comes, software is already tested. But we also need to test the software in the users environment (Compatibility of the users system). The software is installed in the users environment am tested over there. After testing the user uses the system and gives feedback and necessary requirements.

Other points to be remembered :

Feasibility : there are three types of feasibility study you need to keep in mind.
 1. Technical Feasibility
 2. Economical Feasibility
 3. Operational Feasibility

Let's see them in brief :
Technical Feasibility : When you are planning to make a software then you have to keep in mind the present machine or the computer you have with you or you have to kept in mind that will the software wok in the needed environment or not.

Economical Feasibility : When you re making a software at that time you have to make sure that will the planned software be ready in the given budget. You also have to see that if the software is not working the current system then what will be the cost to buy a new system or machine or computer.

Operation Feasibility : You need to make sure that your employee are getting enough knowledge to work with that software. You need to give training to the employee for that particular software.
